Attendance and successful completion of the Children First Program is a mandatory component of the Blair County custody process. This one-time, four-hour class is NOT a parenting class, but rather an educational program that helps all parties understand the importance of healthy co-parenting.  Be advised that failure to attend the program may result in the scheduling of a contempt proceeding.

• There is a $40 registration fee that will be made payable to the provider on the day of your class--cash or money order only (prepare to have exact change)
• If you are unemployed and cannot pay for the class, fee waivers can be provided upon request
• Children are not  permitted to attend the program
• If an individual has a case through another county, but lives in our county and requests to take 
• Classes are only offered once per month (Tuesdays from 5 PM to 9 PM and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM)
