Proper Preparation for Recyclable Material:
- Empty and rinse all cans, plastic bottles and jugs.
- Remove and discard all caps and lids. Labels may remain.
- Flatten metal cans and plastic bottles and jugs, if possible.
- Put newspapers in paper bags.
- Flatten cardboard.
- Keep all paper products dry.
