**REMINDER:  IT IS UNLAWFUL TO LEAVE ANY MATERIAL OUTSIDE OF THE RECYCLING BINS.  VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED AND SUBJECT TO A $1,000 FINE.**   

Proper Preparation for Recyclable Material:

  • Empty and rinse all cans, plastic bottles and jugs.
  • Remove and discard all caps and lids.  Labels may remain.
  • Flatten metal cans and plastic bottles and jugs, if possible.
  • Put newspapers in paper bags.
  • Flatten cardboard.
  • Keep all paper products dry.
