The Hollidaysburg Borough Police Department is located at 401 Blair Street, in the Municipal Building. The Police Department employs eight full-time officers and has a Bike Patrol. The officers provide security for all of the Hollidaysburg Area School District events.
The Department provides 24 hour protection for citizens and their property. Educational programs such as Bicycle Safety, Stranger Danger, Introduction to 911, and Officer Friendly are all part of the department's program for the Borough.
One of the jobs of the department is to educate citizens in crime prevention. The force takes a pro-active approach as in the VASCAR, ESP Speed Timing Device, and the Drug and DUI Task Forces. The Bicycle Incentive Program is sponsored by the department to provide bicycle helmets to those children who may need them.
The Hollidaysburg Borough Police Department is a member of the Crime Watch Program.
