The Regular Township meeting held on January 3, 2012 at 7:00 pm was called to order and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call of Officers
All Board members were present; Sec-Treasurer Beverly Henderson, Engineer Richard Bulger were present.
Minutes
A motion was made by Kenneth Wertz and 2nd by George Henry to accept the meeting minutes of December 6, 2011, and special meeting held on December 15, 2011 and the Treasurer’s Report for the month of December as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
Announcements – There was an Executive Session held after the December 15, 2011 meeting for personnel matters.
General Comments – No general comments
Old Business:
Purchases of multi use camera and accessories, A motion was made by George Henry and 2nd by Kenneth Wertz to purchase a multi use camera from the co-star dealer in the amount of $43,906.74, to be paid from General Fund, Canoe Creek Fund, and District #1 Fund. The camera will be used to camera sewer lines as well as storm water lines. The motion passed unanimously.
A motion was made by George Henry and 2nd by Kenneth Wertz to purchase a small trailer to house the multi use camera in the amount of $2,795.00 to be delivered in 2 weeks. The motion passed unanimously.
New Business:
Prior to the regular Township Meeting the Board of Supervisors held the annual reorganization meeting, and declared a vacancy in the Board. Mr. Kenneth Wertz expressed interested in the position, and was reappointed.
