The Treasurer is an independant, elected postion within the government and is accountable only to the taxpayers and voters of Blair County.
The duties of the Treasurer's Office include the receipt, custody, and disbursement of all county monies as well as being the primary agent of the Commonwealth for the sale of hunting, fishing, and dog licenses. Small Games of Chance, Bingo, and Special Raffle Premits are also issued through the Treasurer's Office.
We take cash or check for any licenses but can only accept a credit or debit card for dog license purchases. There is also a $2.00 additional fee charged when using a card.
