BELLWOOD - ANTIS PARK

The Bellwood-Antis Park is a beautiful 9.77 acre facility. It contains baseball fields, a public swimming pool, basketball court, pavilions and playground equipment.
In addition to the amenities described below, the park is bounded on the southern side by Bells Gap Run, which is a state approved trout stream.
* New for 2007 - The first leg of the Bells-Gap Rail Trail will also pass through the park providing a convenient "hub" for cyclists.

Ball Fields - The Bellwood-Antis Park is the heart af baseball in our community.
Stop by and hear the roar of the crowd at Martin Field or watch the youngsters play ball on the little league field with summer dreams of big league glory.

Swimming Pools - The Bellwod-Antis Park boasts of a full sized pool as well as a baby pool for our little guests. The pools are run for the Authority by the Hollidaysburg YMCA. There are a number of aquatics programs offered each summer, which include swim lessons, SCUBA classes, Aquatic Fitness Programs, lap swim, lifguard training and more. There are several special events planned throughout the summer and the pool may be rented for birthday parties. You may click HERE for more information about the pool.

Pavilions - Picnics are as much a part of summer as apple pie and baseball. The Bellwood-Antis Park offers three pavilions for use by the public.

Playground Area - There are many safe and enjoyable activities to keep the little ones occupied in the playground area.
Most of the equipment is new and was purchased through a $27,000 DCNR Grant. Swings and fencing were donated by the Lions club.
