On May 12, 2011, the Allegheny Township Board of Supervisors adopted the Business License Ordinance No. 235-05-12-2011 which amends the Allegheny Township Local Tax Enabling Act Ordinance No. 228.
This ordinance provides for the requirement and issuance of Business Licenses for each business operating within the limits of Allegheny Township and provides for the collection of an annual fee of $50.00 per year. The ordinance also applies to anyone operating a Home Business.
The license is automatically renewable each year upon collection of the fee. The $50.00 fee for the Business License is due each year on July 1st.
